Looking for what I've never had before I just finally got the courage to leave a BAD long term relationship. I've come to realize much about myself and what I went through. Enough to know it wasn't love and that I've never actually had a person in my life...save for family....who has loved me. So this time, rather than looking for it in all the wrong places, I thought it might be better to find someone I may be more culturally compatible with, where love and respect can grow, rather than starting off with physical attraction and hoping it turns into love for him, not just me. I am a self-sufficient, educated single mother. Living in a Southern Ontario city right now, but looking to relocate back up North to a more rural setting, as soon as the right house comes along. I enjoy anything outdoors...fishing, hiking, kayaking, sledding/atv'ing. I am a Chef and love to cook. I love hockey. Long truck drives. I have started a 'get healthy' chapter in my life as well. I am shy, at first....which many people mistake for snobbishness. Those who know me well, wish I didn't talk so much.
