Warm, Intelligent, Mischievous I have a good life. After 25 years as a professional in the natural resources field, I am going back to school to pursue a new career, and leaving it open to see what I will do with it upon graduation. It is a risk that I'm well aware of, yet it seems to be falling into place after years of thinking and finally doing it.

The most precious people in my life are my young adult niece and nephew. If my house caught on fire, I'd rescue my dog, everything else is just objects. I like to laugh and tease, and appreciate the small joys in life. I like to hike and kayak & live for the beach. I enjoy having friends from all over the continent to visit especially in the summer. Am planning a 50 mile wilderness walk with a friend this summer.

I built my log home where I can see the ocean, mountains, eagles, hear the sea lions barking right now. My garden is a work in progress. Thinking of putting in a pond this year. I like to travel. Would love to take a year off and travel in a small driveable camper to experience new parts of the country. I feel blessed to have experienced working with Native people in Alaska, Colorado, the Southwest & Midwest, as well as worked in nearly every province and territory in Canada.More importantly, I constructed a good life for myself where I try to be conscious of my choices and decisions; while pushing the boundaries of emotional, intellectual, etc. growth. At the same time, I can also slide into a semi-coma of laziness.

Am looking for an intelligent, warm, authentic man who sees the strengths in others, not weaknesses. A willingness to find ways to build or maintain a relationship because it does not just happen - at our age, hopefully we have passed that fluff stage. I need to be able to fully trust you.
