I am a professional woman with a good job and a busy social life. I have lots of friends but I've never met that special someone. As I get older, the thought of being alone gets me down so...here I am! Branching out, taking a chance and trying to make a connection.

A bit about me:

Books: My list is WAY too long, but some of my favourite authors are Nora Roberts/JD Robb, Charlaine Harris, Kelley Armstrong, Diana Gabaldon, Suzanne Brockman and Laurel K. Hamilton.

Movies: I don't go as often as I had in the past, but I still like losing myself in a good movie. I like Chickflicks, but I also like a good action picture. Favourite movie star of all time would be Harrison Ford.

TV: I love House (Hugh Laurie rocks!), Pushing Daisies, Life, Torchwood, Doctor Who and Brothers & Sisters.

Hobbies: I am a member of the Socieity for Creative Anacronism. We do medieval recreation. It sounds a bit boring, but it's a lot of fun. Great way to meet people and to do some travelling. I also like to cook, sew, shoot archery and ice skate.


I love living in a country where change is constant. Canada is never the same, one year to the next. We are a bit like our climate, sometimes hot..sometimes cold.
